In Year 3 we are lucky to have a recently extended classroom, with large Victorian style windows, a comfortable reading corner and a computer area. Our classroom is full of interesting activities, is bright and celebrates our wonderful work.
We have two teachers, called Mrs Sharpe and Ms Robbins, and three fantastic teaching assistants, called Miss Tilley, Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Turvey.
Throughtout the year we enjoy a variety of topics.
Our Autumn topic is 'A Victorian Exploration' and we visit Scaplen's Court to experience a day as a Victorian child. It is great fun, especially when we meet Mr. Stern in the classroom!
In the Spring we investigate 'Changes all Around' with a focus on Egypt. As part of our learning about the water cycle we visit our local river, The River Allen.
During the summer term we enjoy learning about Dorset through our 'Dorset Adventures' topic. It is great fun learning about our local area in the past and present.
Each season we enjoy a Seasonal Walk with a curriculum focus. We are also starting to learn French which is great fun. On Wednesday afternoons we enjoy enrichment with different and exciting activities during PE, ICT and Art.
Pandas is a fun and exciting place to be!
