School Council
Our school council is a group of children who are elected to represent the views of all pupils in our school and to help improve our school.
There are two representatives from each class from Years 1 to 3. These representatives are elected by their classmates every term. We have a number of School Councillors from Year 4 who stay on the School Council for the whole year. In the Summer Term, we are joined by 2 members from our Reception class. Each representative wears an official green 'School Council' badge.
We meet every week on a Thursday after school from 3.15 – 4 pm and class representatives feedback to their class as soon as possible after our meetings and the minutes of the meeting are placed on the School Council Board in each classroom.
Our school council sometimes meets as 3 subgroups to work on different areas of our School Development Plan. Each subgroup is joined by a member of the community, a parent, a Governor, Teaching assistants and Teachers.
The school council recently carried out a Learning Walk. Click here to read our findings! Learning Walk Findings
