Year 2 is a fantastic place to be and we have a bright classroom in the old part of the building next to the Learning Centre. We enjoy reading and finding out about the world throughout our many exciting topics during the year!  

Miss Richards is our class teacher. 

In the Autumn we will explore colour through our topic We Are Colourful! We will enjoy reading poems and stories all about colour and apply our knowledge of colour across the curriculum. Later on in the Autumn Term we will learn about London and the Great Fire. During the Spring Term, we start by exploring our wonderful world and make comparisons between Poole and Kingston, Jamaica. Later in the term we will learn about Heroes past and present such as Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole. For the first half of the Summer Term our topic will be Once Upon a Time and the second will be Beside the Seaside.
