The Pandas enjoyed their trip to the Winchester Science Centre, providing a fantastic opportunity to bring their science curriculum to life. The day’s standout feature was undoubtedly the Planetarium. Seated beneath the impressive 360° dome, the children were treated to an immersive tour of the solar system. This cinematic experience allowed them to visualise the vast scale of the universe and explore the planets in extraordinary detail, sparking a high level of engagement and questioning. The children also took part in an exciting 'Blast Off!' experiment! After teaming up to construct their very own rockets, the groups held a launch competition to find out which design could travel the furthest.
