Have you spotted our new banner? You may have noticed the wonderful "Welcome Back Swifts" banner currently displayed on the school railings! This has been put up by Wimborne Swifts, a local group dedicated to promoting the awareness and conservation of these incredible birds.

Swifts fly all the way from Africa to breed in the UK every spring, and the area surrounding St John’s is a fantastic hotspot for them, filled with active nesting sites. We are proud to support this initiative to help protect these amazing summer visitors, and we encourage our families to keep their eyes on the skies to catch a glimpse of them zooming overhead!
